# morenou.se > Moreno Nourizadeh. Independent philosopher and UX architect, Stockholm. Thirty-eight papers and a four-volume book series on what language models are, what organisations cannot see about themselves, and why intelligence does not travel free of its substrate. Sixteen years designing production systems in hospitality, automotive, fintech and cybersecurity; the philosophy is written from inside the engineering. My name is Moreno Nourizadeh. I write philosophy and I design production systems, and each has been feeding the other for sixteen years. The published work runs to thirty-eight papers and four volumes: on language models and what fitting to a corpus can and cannot produce, on the cybernetics of organisations that cannot observe themselves, on the economic architectures that price living quantities as dead ones. The design practice has crossed hospitality, automotive, fintech, cloud communications, cybersecurity and real estate. I am based in Stockholm and currently lead UX on the Vostio platform at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions. I publish without institutional affiliation, on PhilArchive, Zenodo and here. ## Read the corpus - Site pages and essays, one document: https://morenou.se/llms-full.txt - The Archival Age, all four volumes, one document: https://morenou.se/llms-books.txt ## Site map ``` morenou.se/ ├── / Home ├── /about/ profile, competencies, AI practice ├── /work/ six client cases ├── /papers/ academic papers on PhilPapers ├── /reading/ unlisted four-book reading library ├── /resources/ tools and downloadable resources ├── /blog/ essays │ ├── /blog/confessions-of-a-lock/ │ ├── /blog/drawing-lions-without-lions/ │ ├── /blog/becoming-human/ │ ├── /blog/why-language-models-work/ │ ├── /blog/the-submarine-and-the-sea/ │ └── /blog/architecture-of-not-yet/ ├── /contact/ contact links ├── /privacy/ privacy notice ├── /all-pages/ human-readable route index ├── /library/ website design library ├── /admin/ browser CMS ├── /rss.xml summary feed ├── /sitemap.xml canonical URL inventory ├── /llms.txt this compact AI index ├── /llms-full.txt public pages and essays ├── /llms-books.txt The Archival Age, all four volumes └── /*/index.md per-page Markdown mirrors ``` ## Pages (markdown mirrors) - [Home](https://morenou.se/index.md): homepage and primary navigation - [About](https://morenou.se/about/index.md): who Moreno is, competencies, AI practice - [Work](https://morenou.se/work/index.md): client cases - [Blog](https://morenou.se/blog/index.md): writing index - [Papers](https://morenou.se/papers/index.md): 38 academic papers with links - [Resources](https://morenou.se/resources/index.md): resources and tools - [Contact](https://morenou.se/contact/index.md): contact links - [Privacy](https://morenou.se/privacy/index.md): privacy notice - [All pages](https://morenou.se/all-pages/index.md): public site index - [Design Library](https://morenou.se/library/index.md): design system reference ## The Archival Age (books and full-text chapter editions) ### Volume I: One Crack in Every Cathedral - [General Introduction to the Series](https://morenou.se/reading/general-introduction-to-the-archival-age/index.md) - [The Dissolution of Orders](https://morenou.se/reading/the-dissolution-of-orders/index.md) - [Paradox as Diagnosis](https://morenou.se/reading/paradox-as-diagnosis/index.md) - [From Cybernetics to Chiasm to Category](https://morenou.se/reading/from-cybernetics-to-chiasm-to-category/index.md) - [The Archival Regulator](https://morenou.se/reading/the-archival-regulator/index.md) - [Three Walls](https://morenou.se/reading/three-walls/index.md) ### Volume II: The Machinery of Extraction - [Topology Without Topography](https://morenou.se/reading/topology-without-topography/index.md) - [The Selected Regulator](https://morenou.se/reading/the-selected-regulator/index.md) - [The Thermodynamics of Organizational Extraction](https://morenou.se/reading/the-thermodynamics-of-organizational-extraction/index.md) - [The Loop Closed](https://morenou.se/reading/the-loop-closed/index.md) ### Volume III - [The Conditions of the Invisible Hand](https://morenou.se/reading/the-conditions-of-the-invisible-hand/index.md) ### Volume IV: The Garden and the Membrane - [The Garden Where Nothing Grows](https://morenou.se/reading/the-garden-where-nothing-grows/index.md) - [The Birth Canal](https://morenou.se/reading/the-birth-canal/index.md) - [From Orientation to Practice](https://morenou.se/reading/from-orientation-to-practice/index.md) - [The Membrane Architecture](https://morenou.se/reading/the-membrane-architecture/index.md) ## Essays (markdown mirrors, full text) - [Confessions of a Lock](https://morenou.se/blog/confessions-of-a-lock/index.md): How poetry slips past AI safeguards, and what that reveals about language. (Jul 5, 2026, AI Safety) - [Drawing Lions Without Lions](https://morenou.se/blog/drawing-lions-without-lions/index.md): How a thousand years of artists drew animals that came out wrong in exactly the same way, what that tells you about the difference between an error and a way of seeing, and why you cannot catch yourself doing it. (Jun 14, 2026, Philosophy of Science) - [Becoming Human](https://morenou.se/blog/becoming-human/index.md): The big brain did not come first and then invent the tools and the words. The tools and the words came too, and they are still making us. (Jun 4, 2026, Philosophy of Technology) - [Why Language Models Work](https://morenou.se/blog/why-language-models-work/index.md): Why a machine that understands nothing can write something that moves you, and what that says about language rather than about the machine. (May 1, 2026, Philosophy of AI) - [The Submarine and the Sea](https://morenou.se/blog/the-submarine-and-the-sea/index.md): Why organisations cannot stand apart from the worlds they observe, and what cybernetics missed about the boundary between a system and its environment. (Dec 24, 2025, Cybernetics) - [The Architecture of Not-Yet](https://morenou.se/blog/architecture-of-not-yet/index.md): Why systems fray, adapt, resist imposed clarity, and have to be understood from within. (Nov 23, 2025, Systems) Each essay also exists as a normal web page at the same path without index.md.
